Magic the gathering Red Rush deck please rate?
I used to play magic cards alot, and found some of my old cards, so I put together a deck. All of my good cards are in a binder somewhere so the cards in this deck aren’t amazingly good. Its a reed rush deck, just wondering how god you guys think it is.
Creatures
2x raging goblin
2x ronin houndmaster
1x goblin chariot
1x vulshok sorcerer
1x lightning elemental
1x hematite golem
1x fire elemental
2x oxidda golem
1x iron-barb hellion
1x Ashen monstrosity
Spells
1x firebreathing
2x lava spike
4x shock
2x volcanic hammer
2x splitting earth
1x screaming fury
1x turf wound
1x unearthly blizzrd
1x threaten
1x blaze
20 mountains
You’ll notice that I have only 1 of many cards. Thats because I only have 1 of that card. Also all my creatures except for fire elemental and hematite golem have haste. Pleaswe Rate!
This deck has an obvious goal — blitz the opponent from 20 to 0 life in as quickly as possible, but as straight-forward as this deck tries to be, it’s still trying to juggle a bit much.
Land shenanigans, direct damage, control magic, and creature enchantments. It may not seem like much of a big deal, but focusing your condition for winning can help more than you know.
I suggest some of these cards to help. They’re all common and uncommon and fairly new, so they shouldn’t be too much trouble to get a hold of:
Hellspark Elemental (Alara Block)
Teetering Peaks (Zendikar)
Lightning Bolt (Alara Block)
Burst Lightning (Zendikar)
Flame Javelin (Alara Block)
Browbeat (Time Spiral Block)
I know you weren’t asking for suggestions, but I thought I’d try and help as much as I could in one response =X
As a beginner casual deck, it looks solid and has plenty of answers to creatures (what most new players will be using), and carefully directing your burn can make it hard to deal with. Before trying to move up the ranks tho, I suggest putting a few dollars of work into getting more efficient cards.
Beginner Casual: 8/10
The game has changed quite a bit since you stopped playing, but I think you’ll enjoy it. Hope to see a question about a vastly improved red deck in a while =D

Decks need 60 cards. And you might want to try starting from scratch. You can’t play any official formats with that deck, and you would get killed by most casual decks.
