What can I do about this eviction?
My grandfather rents a back home to my three children and I,for 250 dollars for utilities. I’ve only known this man for about two years, and he seemed like a nice enough guy, until I came to Texas to visit my mom for two weeks! He called me saying I had to move out, took the keys from my housesitter and sent my dog to a friends! He’s been in and out if my home, he’s changing the locks, and trying to convince my dad to come and pick up my stuff while I’m gone leaving me nothing to come home to. Isn’t this illegal? What can I do? Please help! I’m three states away for another week and so upset! He said the reason was so he can move in…

That’s not an eviction. That’s an illegal seizure of your property.
Eviction is a legal process done by a court. Tell him that if everything isn’t exactly where you left it when you get back, you’ll call the police and tell them that your home was broken into by your landlord.

If you didn’t sign a formal lease, he can do what he wants. It’s his property.

If it is his home and you have no signed lease then it is just a family matter. He has decided he wants you out and out you go.
If you do have a signed lease agreement then you need to read it.
