Tagging a stop sign will probably result in a fine and community service.

In AZ (maybe other states), it is aggravated criminal damage (a felony) to tag or otherwise damage cemeteries, schools and places of worship. The degree of the felony is based upon the amount of damage – it’s still a felony if you’re convicted.

For tagging a stop sign, you will most likely have to pay damages to have the sign cleaned or replaced ($300), plus a fine on top of that, 1 yr probation and 100 hrs community service. Depending upon your age, you may not get a driver’s license until you are 18. If you have a drivers license, expect it to be suspended until you are 18.

Other states may have a similar or completely different stance on tagging.

If you can’t do the time, DON’T DO THE CRIME!!!

As a minimum….because you caused damaged to government property you will be held responsible for the damages you caused and be required to pay restitution. That means pay for what you broke!

People who think it’s "cool" to tag signs are doing nothing more than damaging a traffic signal that provides for a more safe driving environment. Degrading the sign confuses some drivers then results in accidents.

it seems the chicago white sox are always potrayed as the bad guys, or have a bad attitude such as in movies major leauge, and angels in the outfield, and in real life people said the same thing of frank thomas,konerko never smiles and piersnzki seems to have a bad attitude. plus their fans seem aggresive and so does their manager. they have a bad ass logo on their caps as well? are the white sox not well liked?

Its because they portray themselves as bad-asses. They are nothing more than a bunch of goons. They play in a part of Chicago that is full of thugs, gangbangers, members of the Chicago Mafia, militant terrorists and serial rapists who hate everybody who isn’t like them. In order to go to their ballpark you have to carry multiple weapons because the security is non-existent.

How many trips have the Vikings made it to the playoffs? I would never say either team is better than the other team. I am thrilled New Orleans made it to the big one and won. Why would I be mad? besides the fact that I am a Raiders fan (since 1963) and my beloved organization is so screwed up and stupid they all think Al Davis is still alive. Relax. Our time will come. This year was supposed to be our year, but evidently not. thats fine. i have been a vikings fan since the day i was born. whether or not favre comes back next year and brings home a trophy too Minnesota, i dont care. i will wait as long as it takes for them to win a superbowl. The saints had their moment in the sun this year. next year hopefully will be our time to shine. And those 4 superbowl chances and 21 playoff chances? were just getting started. Do you think that film directors should be allowed to show violence that is very real?
For my A2 coursework, I’m completing a research project on whether violence in films influences or mirrors violence in society.

Using films such as Eden Lake and Clockwork orange as examples, do you think that the directors should be allowed to use violence that could easily be copied – knife crime, torture in woods etc?

Do you think that they should be limited to fantasy, dramatised violence like thriller violence, car chase/ gun shoot outs that can easily be identified as for entertainment purposes?

right you can talk about the hypodermic needle theory and use the case of the jamie bulger incident where two young boys watched an 18 rated horror film with extreme violence and copied parts of it with a real boy. however you can argue this is a one off incident where the adults who owned the film were not careful enough and that age ratings are there for a reason.
also we all know films arent real. we are given special features containing the making of and directors commentary so we are showed once more about the fakeness of the film itself.
violence is dramatised in films because many people are not familiar with it so it gives people a chance to see what itd be like without actually doing it. therefore violence in films is possibly safe? also the shock factor from these violent films will probably reduce the person’s need to explore this violence in the real world and films often create empathy with certain characters. however it can be argued that if the main character is extremely violent that it could be seen as glamorizing violence and making the audience feel closer to the violent individual.
with your essay you should look at both points, give examples, and then come to a conclusion that is your own viewpoint and give your own honest opinion to why you’ve chosen that.
basically its down to the viewer, extreme violence is always going to be an 18 so an adult should be mature enough to not copy the film or get ideas from it. films can show violence, because its not real and not a threat, its a fantasy at the end of the day. how a viewer acts is not the film makers fault as that viewer has a moral choice after watching it. im sure people who have copied something from a film are already violent with a history of crime so the film didnt really do anything.
you could also explore what the difference between seeing violence acted in a film is different from seeing it on the news, in a book or in a video game? surely its less likely to affect someone as its not first person like in a game, or isnt highly detailed like a book.

I am basing my response to you on watching the movie, not reading the play. If you have a copy of the play in front of you it shouldn’t be any problem to find some dialog where Rita first meets Frank (this is where I think "describe Rita’s entrance to the room" should be found in the play). Frank is more or less burned out and disgusted (he’s rather low energy and an alcoholic) with teaching since he thinks that the students are just repeating what they’ve been told in the classroom and not showing any original thought. This contrasts Rita’s high energy and enthusiasm for learning, because she believes that learning will make her a better person. You should find some dialog to back up these ideas, though.

Where have all the fish gone? Little Red Bay, Ontario – Bruce Penninsula – Lake Huron?
I have gone to a family / fishing resort called Evergreen Resort since I was young. The resort is on Lake Huron in Little Red Bay of the Bruce Penninsula in Ontario.

We used to catch perch and Walleye – a bunch of them. The resort used to have a fish house (to clean the fish), bait store, etc.

Each year for several years the fishing has gotten worse and worse. The water level here has dropped also. Everyone in the area has an opinion of why: natural cycle, commercial over-fishing, rising water temp, etc.

There is litteraly NO perch or walleye in a 20-30 mile radius of little red bay anymore.

I have a gold gourami that I believe is a female, and I wanted to get a powder blue gourami to go with her. (I have a 55 gallon tank with 3 cory cats and 7 platies.) I wanted to know if she (who may grow to 6 inches) would attack a powder blue gourami (who would only grow to 2 inches).

I think it depends…every fish has a diff personality. I think your tank is big enough that they would prob’ly be ok as long as you have some hiding places. We had several types of gouramis and a couple dwarfs and some of them were ok with each other and some fought to the death. Usually males are more aggressive so I think you’ll be ok. There’s only one way to find out If you get your dwarf from petsmart or petco you can always take it back if its getting attacked. That is if you can catch it before its harmed.

One can never say for sure about fish compatibility. Individual fish have different personalities and levels of aggression. I personally have never had a problem mixing gouramis. You have a large tank, and relatively few fish, make sure you have some plants or decorations where the fish can hide. But usually if they are introduced young, it works out ok.

Why can i not find decent answers to these questions?
Alright, so i’m not considering suicide as most of you would guess from reading this. I’m doing a project for my enlish class and i had a few questions about the topic i picked. And some of you may also think that i’m using that as a cover story just to get the answers i need. No. But that’s fine, as long as i get some answers. So here we go:
In my project i am writing as though i filmed the lives of a few people. I’ll get the female information first seeing as that might let you know i just need answers. So here is the plot.
First female:
About 130 pounds, shooting for the age of around 15-17 yanno?
Taking 1200 of Ibuprofen (that’s sixty, 200 mg pills)
I may add 600 mg Reglan to it, make a difference?

Second female:
About 100 pounds. Same age group. Not sure on the amount as for i read that 400-800 is considered a toxic dose of pain medications? Either way, i’m not sure.
Possible pregnancy? Sounds great right?
And i’m not sure what else to add for each overdose? Make a request….?
Also the scene is going to be set as if they were in a mall, so they could get help, because we don’t want to make people commit full suicide in the vital english class.
How long would it take for symptoms to set in?
What would start happening for them with their age and weight?
What would i have needed to happen to them when the medics arrived and what would happen after they reached the hospital, would they pass out first hand?
I will be filming this during, but no one will actually be taking any medications, i just need to set up a fake scene and know the responses to it. Any ideas from you all?
